Success Stories

Many successful cables Dipl.-Ing. Jörg Bör developed during his career. Some of them are worth to be mentioned.

So in the early 1990ies he was significant involved in the development of symmetrical high frequency data cables which since 2002 are an international standard called category 7.

His activities in the field of fibre optic cables lead to a special miniaturized but extremely robust cable for fibre to the desk (FTTD) applications. This project was part of a joint research project in the Optosys-programme.

Later he was focused on high flexing cables for permanent moving industrial applications. He restructured the product family and sensitised the users in substantial information campaigns for the special requirements of drag chain cables.

Several of his ideas are protected as patents or utility models.
