Dipl.-Ing. Jörg Bör
When studying electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Jörg Bör had first contact with the cable industry. As a trainee he got an impression on production of medium voltage cables from the maintenance and the development point of view.
Inspired by this experience he focused his professional way exclusively on the cable industry.
Some steps of his career have been
- development engineer for symmetrical copper data cables and fibre optic cables with KERPEN
- development manager for industrial flexible cables with LAPP
- product manager for industrial flexible cables with LÜTZE
He expanded his technical, ecologic and social competences in continuing education.
Additionally he worked in different standardization committees and technical groups of the German cable manufacturers association and is author of several technical articles and conference contributions. Further on he worked as a referent for the further education institute of the German engineers association (VDI).
Some of his innovative cable constructions and production methods were filed as patents.
