Standardisation

From 2006 to 2008 he was an expert in German subcommittee DKE/UK 411.2 „insulated power cables“, contributing the specification of cables for PV systems.

In the technical coordination group of the German cable manufacturers' association, he helped to the transfer the European harmonization documents HD 21 and HD 22 into todays European standard EN 50525.

Since 2015 he supports the standardisation of data cables in national committees as expert in DKE/K 412 „Communication cables“, DKE/UK 412.1 „Symmetric cables", DKE/UK 412.3 „coaxial cables“ and DKE/UK 412.6 „Optical fibres, cables and subsystems“ as well as in some international working groups of IEC TC 46 and IEC TC 86 resp. its subcommittees.
